As part of the initiative to enhance music education in Ukraine, 100 W. Hoffman pianos were donated to Ukrainian art schools, including the Kyiv State Music Lyceum named after Mykola Lysenko, by the German company C. Bechstein Pianoforte AG.
This was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.

A meeting was held to discuss collaboration and support for music education in Ukraine, attended by Ukraine's Minister of Culture Mykola Tochitsky, representatives of C. Bechstein, and the charitable foundation "Karl Bechstein".
A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the German side to consolidate efforts in developing and supporting Ukrainian art education institutions.
Tochitsky expressed gratitude to foreign partners for their charitable initiatives in support of young musicians.
Cultural Heritage Losses in Ukraine Due to War
The full-scale war in Ukraine has caused irreparable damage to the country's cultural heritage, with over 2156 cultural infrastructure objects being destroyed or damaged.
The greatest losses have been experienced in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions.
