A new sculpture has been unveiled in Kyiv as part of the «Shukai» project, designed in the shape of a sharpened pencil, honoring literary figures.
«This pencil signifies that creativity is actively utilized, not hidden away in a drawer,» emphasized the project's author, Yulia Bevzenko.
The miniature sculpture now adorns the building that has housed the «Smoloskip» publishing house for the past twenty years.
This place has gathered individuals who have pioneered a new chapter in Ukrainian literature.
«The legend of this sculpture: touch the pencil — gain inspiration,» the creators note.
