30 posters remind us that donating blood can save lives.

In honor of World Blood Donor Day, celebrated on June 14, an exhibition of illustrations called «Art Donation 2025» has opened in the lobby of the «Zoloti Vorota» metro station.

This year’s theme is — «Blood Unites: Donation as a Manifestation of Ukrainian Identity». The organizers, NGO «Blood Agents», point out that the theme encourages reflection on the profound meanings of unity and solidarity inherent in the Ukrainian people.

The exhibition features 30 diverse, bright, and inspiring posters reminding us that through blood donation, each of us can save a life.

The organizers emphasize that blood donation has always been important, but since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, it has become critically necessary, as donated blood is separated into components that can be used to help three patients.

In the Kyiv metro, it is noted that among the employees is Honored Donor of Ukraine Yevhen Holdych, who has made over 115 donations. Yevhen works as a senior electromechanic in the signaling service of the Kyiv Metro, dedicating his entire life to the safety of movement. Read the interview with him on the «Evening Kyiv» website.

Overall, about 120 employees of the enterprise regularly participate in blood donation.
