During the Marché du Film market at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the first teaser for the Ukrainian spy drama titled “HUR: Code “Sikora” was unveiled.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The teaser for “HUR: Code “Sikora” captivated the viewers.

The film is based on real events tied to one of the most significant operations of the GUR.

Directed by Akhtem Seitablaev, who also stars as the lead character—an intelligence officer.

The plot intertwines the personal journey of his character with the execution of a vital special operation.

“This is a story about a family man, an intelligence officer, whose personal life has been shattered by war... Friends will help him return to action. The commander and a junior colleague will devise one of the most successful operations in the history of intelligence and seek revenge against the enemy,” explains director Akhtem Seitablaev.

The film “HUR: Code “Sikora” is set to premiere in theaters in 2026.
