The death toll from the flooding in Texas has risen to at least 129, with 166 individuals still missing.

Meanwhile, meteorological services have warned of the danger of new downpours that could trigger further flooding by the evening of July 13 local time.

As of July 10, the number of casualties from the devastating flood in Texas had exceeded 120.
