The German Foreign Minister Johann Wedeful has arrived on a working visit to Ukraine.
This has been reported by Spiegel.
On Monday, June 30, he arrived in Kyiv to hold talks with the Ukrainian government.
Upon arrival, he stated that "the freedom and future of Ukraine are the foremost priorities" of Germany's foreign policy. He also mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is attempting to subjugate Ukraine through brutal bombings.
Previously, Wedeful warned against underestimating the threat posed by Russia to Germany.
In a recent speech, he emphasized that the Baltic Sea is a zone where "the risk of military confrontation is quite real".
Additionally, he expressed concern that the escalation of conflict between Israel and Iran is diverting attention from Ukraine.
