We dropped the entire bomb load on the main target, Fordow. All crews are safely returning home".

Updated: According to The Wall Street Journal, citing three Iranian officials, the strike occurred around 2:30 AM local time.

Fordow is the most secure nuclear complex in Iran, located deep underground. A U.S. Department of Defense official stated that the attack on Fordow was executed by B-2 strategic bombers, likely using specialized munitions capable of penetrating such fortifications.

According to Fox News, the U.S. dropped six GBU-57 bombs on the nuclear site at Fordow. Additionally, 30 Tomahawk missiles were launched from Ohio-class submarines targeting nuclear facilities in Natanz and Isfahan.

Fordow was detected by Western intelligence services before Iran officially acknowledged it in 2009. For many years, Western experts believed the site was too well protected for a conventional airstrike.

Natanz, another critical element of Iran's nuclear program, had already sustained damage from Israeli strikes on its energy infrastructure, which disabled all centrifuges in the underground hall approximately 30 meters deep. However, experts believe that the U.S. airstrike could have caused significantly more damage.
