Ukraine will allocate 739 billion UAH in 2025 for the production and procurement of weapons, as well as to ensure long-term contracts for the defense industry.

This information was announced by the leader of the "Servant of the People" party, MP Olena Shuliak.

She stated that the focus in 2025 will be on developing long-range weapons produced in Ukraine, as investments in this area last year yielded concrete results on the battlefield. Shuliak reminded that Ukraine has tested and started serial production of domestic cruise missiles and has also developed and tested ballistic missiles. Furthermore, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the production of 30,000 long-range drones capable of covering over a thousand kilometers to strike significant military and economic targets of the aggressor country.

"Today, our long-range missiles and drones are hitting strategic Russian military targets deep in their rear. They are incapacitating oil refineries that supply fuel to Russian military equipment, as well as Russian defense factories, disrupting logistics chains and destroying concentrations of personnel and equipment. Therefore, increasing the production of long-range weapons will enable the Defense Forces of Ukraine to strike even more intensively at the enemy's territory," – noted Olena Shuliak.

The MP also added that this year there are plans to introduce long-term contracts for the production of weapons and ammunition, as this was one of the key requests from defense enterprises.

Shuliak also reminded that the "Servant of the People" party systematically and consistently supports the Ukrainian army and invests in the domestic defense industry. Overall, during the large-scale war, "Servant of the People" has allocated 400 million UAH for the Defense Forces and has also directed 49 million UAH of saved funds to the state budget. These funds have been used to purchase, in particular, domestic anti-tank missile systems "Stugna-P" for the National Guard and 2,000 systems of electronic warfare of Ukrainian production.

Moreover, according to Olena Shuliak, the deputies of the "Servant of the People" party in the regions are also showing a very active stance in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, consistently advocating for additional funding for defense and often initiating such decisions in their local councils. In particular, nearly 20 billion UAH has been allocated for the needs of the Armed Forces from the budgets of regions, districts, and communities across the country at the initiative of the "Servant of the People" deputies.
