Ukraine's Defense: Countering Drone Attacks

Ukrainian military forces have successfully shot down 64 out of 80 drones launched by Russia on the night of December 11. This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via their Telegram channel.
According to the report, starting from 6 PM on Thursday, December 11, the invaders launched 80 attack drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, from various directions such as Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF), Chauda, and Hvardyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with about 50 of them being Shahed drones.
The attacks were countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Friday, December 12, preliminary data shows that air defense shot down 64 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
There were recorded hits of 12 attack drones at eight locations, and debris from downed drones at three locations.
The assault is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
Russia has heavily attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, damaging energy infrastructure and storage facilities, leaving some localities without electricity.
