The head of the Kyiv Regional Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, announced that the 'Clear Sky' project units have reported approximately 2100 enemy drones destroyed. He shared this information after visiting military personnel who daily protect the airspace over Kyiv.

Kalashnyk, accompanied by Deputy Ruslan Oliinyk, met with fighters participating in the project and working in mobile drone counteraction groups. He emphasized that on the eve of Ukraine's Armed Forces Day, he had the honor to personally recognize the military for their dedication and professionalism.

«I expressed my gratitude for their daily risks taken for our safety», – said the regional head.

During the visit, the KOVA leadership toured command posts and positions where military personnel were preparing for their next combat duty. According to Kalashnyk, these mobile groups are the first to respond to aerial threats.

He pointed out that 'Clear Sky' is a unique technology for Ukraine, where one drone intercepts another. He noted that the system operates «quickly, accurately, and effectively».

Kalashnyk highlighted that the project originated in Kyiv Oblast but has now been scaled to other regions of the country. Unique tactics to counter aerial threats have been developed in collaboration with the military and local communities.

«Every downed aerial target means saved lives and preserved infrastructure», – he stated.

The regional head also assured that support for these units will continue – through subsidies and partnerships to provide them with modern equipment and resources.

«It is thanks to these individuals that we can live, work, and build our future», – Kalashnyk concluded, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the military.
