Latest Updates on the Kyiv Shelling Incident

Kyiv: latest updates on the shelling incident as of 06:30. This information was provided by the emergency services.

As a result of the shelling, one person has died, and nine others have been injured, including a child. Rescuers managed to save eight individuals, including two children and a person with reduced mobility. Due to the combined attacks, residential buildings have sustained damage:

  •  Shevchenkivskyi District: a 14-story residential building was damaged. Apartments on the 4th and 5th floors caught fire. The fire has been extinguished. Medical assistance was provided to one person on the scene.
  •  Solomyanskyi District: debris fell on a 25-story residential building, causing the external insulation to ignite and partial facade destruction from the 1st to the 3rd floors. Parked cars were damaged. The fire has been extinguished. Medical assistance was provided to two individuals at the scene. Additionally, debris fell on a 17-story residential building without further ignition. There was also a hit on a garage near a residential house in the private sector, where a fire broke out, and extinguishing efforts are ongoing.
  • Svityoshynskyi District: a hit occurred in the entrance of a 3-story residential building. A fire broke out on the 2nd floor, and rescuers saved a child. Another person sought medical help. The body of the deceased was recovered from the debris. The fire has been extinguished, and debris removal is ongoing.
  •  Dniprovskyi District: a hit on a 10-story residential building caused damage to the 6th and 7th floors. The fire has been extinguished. Three people, including a person with reduced mobility, were rescued from the 7th floor.
