The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize 125 out of 162 drones launched by Russian troops into Ukraine on the evening of November 23. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, the aggressors attacked Ukraine using 162 strike drones of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other types from the directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Over 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and drones, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary information, as of 9:00 AM on Monday, November 24, air defense had destroyed or suppressed 125 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of Ukraine.
Hits were recorded from 37 strike UAVs at 15 different locations, as well as debris falling at one location.
The most damage was inflicted on civil infrastructure and private households in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, with casualties among the civilian population.
