The Armed Forces of Ukraine have reported that their air defense forces neutralized 69 out of 98 Russian drones. This information was shared via Telegram.
The attack began at 19:00 on Saturday, November 22, when Russian forces launched 98 strike UAVs, including Shahed types, from different directions: Oryol, Kursk, Milleryovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chаuda (Crimea). About 60 of these were Shahed drones.
Air defense units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s defense forces actively countered the aerial threat.
As of 08:30 on Sunday, November 23, preliminary data shows that air defense managed to shoot down 69 drones across the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Hits were recorded from 27 strike UAVs at 12 locations.
The assault is ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
Yesterday, Russian forces also attacked Dnipro and three regional areas, resulting in 14 injuries, including an 11-year-old girl.
