The Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralized 101 out of 114 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the evening of November 17. The Air Forces announced this via Telegram.
Starting from 8:00 PM on November 17, the invaders launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Voronezh regions, as well as 114 strike drones of the Shahed type, "Herber", and other types from directions including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chaooudah (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 AM on November 18, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down or suppressed 101 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Four missiles and 13 strike drones were recorded hitting 15 locations, with debris from downed targets observed at two sites.
