Massive Strikes on Kyiv: Overnight Attack Consequences

On the night of November 14, Russian forces launched a significant assault on Kyiv and its surrounding areas. According to city and military administration officials, there are reported casualties and injuries.
The attacks targeted various city districts using drones and missiles.
In particular, in the Podil district, a missile struck a high-rise building on the 15th floor, while in the Svyatoshyn district, it hit the 7th floor. In the Obolon district, a nine-story building was hit, causing fires in apartments on the 7th to 9th floors.
In the Dnipro district, drone debris hit a five-story building, leading to fires in two apartments. Overall, rescuers managed to save over 40 people from the affected high-rises.
Additionally, there were reports of damage to administrative buildings and fires at school facilities. Damage to heating networks in the Desnyansky district led to temporary heating outages in some buildings.
Preliminary reports indicate the death toll in the capital has risen to three, although this information is being verified.
The number of injured has also increased — 26 residents, including two children aged 7 and 10 years. Nine people, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized.
Moreover, the Russians launched extensive strikes on the Kyiv region, particularly targeting critical infrastructure.
Six people were injured, including a 55-year-old man with thermal burns, a 40-year-old male with multiple shoulder wounds, and a 56-year-old woman with lacerations.
