The air defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 90 out of 121 drones that Russian troops used to attack the country on the evening of November 11. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 19:00 on November 11, Russian forces launched 121 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other models from various directions, including Milleryovo, Orel, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), Chauda, and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of these drones were Shahed.
The response to the aerial assault was provided by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on November 12, the air defense had destroyed or suppressed 90 UAVs in the north, east, south, and center of Ukraine.
Reported hits from 31 strike UAVs were recorded at 19 locations, with debris falling in one location.
