The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 108 out of 135 enemy drones used in an attack on the country on the evening of November 5. This information was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
The attack by Russian forces began on Wednesday, November 5, at 19:00, employing 135 UAVs, with 90 of them being Shahed-type drones launched from various directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo.
The defense was supported by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00 on Thursday, November 6, the air defense had managed to shoot down 108 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
There were recorded impacts from 27 strike drones at 13 different locations.
