On the night of November 5, Russia launched a significant attack on Ukraine, deploying 80 strike drones of the Shahed type and others. The assault came from various directions, including Kursk and Orel. According to the Ukrainian Air Force command, approximately 50 of these drones were Shahed.
The Ukrainian air defense force actively repelled the attack, utilizing aviation, anti-aircraft missile systems, and mobile fire groups. As of 09:00, 61 enemy drones had been destroyed or suppressed, particularly in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Multiple impacts were recorded at various locations, including 18 strike drones hitting 7 different sites, and debris from downed drones caused falls at 2 locations. The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still in the airspace.
