The Ukrainian defense forces successfully neutralized 206 out of 223 enemy drones used by Russian troops to attack the country on the evening of October 31. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
From 18:30 on Friday, October 31, Russian aggressors launched an attack with 223 drones, including types Shahed, "Gerbera," and others, from directions such as Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 140 of them were Shahed drones.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:30 on Saturday, November 1, air defense had shot down 206 UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Seventeen strikes of enemy drones were recorded at seven different locations.
In the Poltava region, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the gas extraction facilities due to the Russian attack.
