Ukrainian Defense Forces Thwart Drone Attacks

The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 58 out of 98 drones used in the attack on the country starting the evening of October 20. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram. 
According to the information, from 7:00 PM on Monday, October 20, Russian forces launched two "Iskander-M/KN-23" ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region, along with four S-300 guided missiles from the Kursk region, and 98 strike UAVs including Shahed, "Herbera," and other drones launched from various directions: Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda and Hvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of them were Shahed-type drones.
To counter the air attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were deployed.
As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, October 21, preliminary data indicates that air defense has shot down 58 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Missile strikes and 37 UAVs were registered at 10 locations, as well as debris from downed targets at two locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
