Recently, Russian forces launched an attack on a DTEK thermal power station, injuring two energy workers and causing significant damage to equipment. This was reported by the company's press service.
According to preliminary information, both injured workers received the necessary medical assistance.
"The equipment at the power station has suffered severe damage, and we are working on prompt restoration. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, our thermal power stations have been attacked more than 200 times," DTEK officials stated.
It should be noted that the government has imposed a moratorium on electricity disconnections in frontline communities. Russian forces have once again targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As of the morning of October 7, power outages have been reported in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
