The President of Ukraine convened an important military meeting. Participants included Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, and the relevant deputy head of the Office, Pavlo Palisa. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He informed about reports regarding the frontline — key directions and the situation in border areas.

«Special attention is given to the counteroffensive operation in Dobropillia. As of this morning, 168.8 km² of territory have been liberated, and another 187.7 km² have been cleared of Russian sabotage groups. The total losses of the Russians within this operation have already reached almost 3,000 personnel, most of which are irretrievable. We are also continuing to replenish Ukraine's exchange fund. I thank all our units involved in the operation», — emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.

There were also reports regarding the situation in Kupiansk and the surrounding areas. The progress of our actions in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions was discussed in detail.

The Commander-in-Chief also reported about the downing of a Russian Su-34 in Zaporizhzhia.

Thank you to our warriors for their accuracy. This aircraft, along with others, has been used by the Russians for bombing attacks on Zaporizhzhia and other cities and villages. We will continue to justly destroy Russian military aviation in response to strikes on our cities and people. We are working with partners to further strengthen our air defense. Following meetings and agreements in New York, there are corresponding instructions for the Ministry of Defense and Ukrainian diplomats», — wrote Zelensky on Facebook.

Additionally, he reported that the Commander-in-Chief informed about recent incidents involving drones on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. Ukrainian military recorded the incursions of reconnaissance drones into our airspace, possibly Hungarian drones. Initially, they might have been gathering intelligence on the industrial potential in Ukrainian border areas.

«I instructed to verify all available data and promptly report on each recorded incident», — stated Volodymyr Zelensky.
