Drone Strikes Disrupt Power Supply in Ukraine

As of the morning of September 25, drone attacks have resulted in power supply issues in the Chernihiv and Mykolaiv regions. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.

"Over the past day, the enemy has carried out several attacks on energy facilities in various regions, leading to many consumers being left without electricity. Energy workers are striving to restore damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible," the statement reads.

It is also noted that electricity consumption as of 9:30 on Thursday has decreased by 1.9% compared to the previous day due to clear weather in most regions, except for some western and southeastern areas. The change in weather conditions has positively impacted the operation of solar power plants, resulting in reduced load on the overall electric grid.

"Given the weather conditions, we recommend shifting active electricity consumption to the hours when solar power plants operate most efficiently. Please use high-power electrical appliances from 10:00 to 16:00," advises Ukrenergo.
