Due to the nighttime strikes by Russia on Thursday, September 25, four railway sections in Ukraine experienced power outages. The Ukrainian Railways reported that train services are being conducted using backup locomotives.
There have been no casualties, however, infrastructure has been damaged, according to the company.
As of 08:00, operations with backup locomotives are ongoing, with delays noted for the following trains:
- #53/54 Odesa-Glavna - Dnipro-Glavniy (+5:09);
- #253/254 Odesa-Glavna - Kryvyi Rih-Glavniy (+5:09);
- #7/8 Odesa-Glavna - Kharkiv-Pas. (+4:47);
- #147/148 Kyiv-Pas. - Odesa-Glavna (+2:01);
- #127/128 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:18);
- #31/32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:17);
- #51/52 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Odesa-Glavna (+1:10);
- #91/92 Odesa-Glavna - Kramatorsk (+1:02).
As a result of the Russian attacks, certain railway sections in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions have experienced power outages.
