The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 132 out of 141 drones that attacked Ukraine on the evening of September 21.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Forces of Ukraine reported this via their Telegram channel.
In the night of September 22, the enemy launched an attack using 141 strike UAVs, including Shahed and Gerbera types, from directions: Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Chauda – TOT Crimea, with about 80 of them being Shahed drones.
The attacks were repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Preliminary data as of 08:30 indicates that the air defense systems shot down 132 enemy UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, and other types across the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Nine strikes were recorded at seven locations, along with wreckage falling at eight sites. Additionally, from 4 to 6 am on September 22, the enemy conducted an airstrike on infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia. Launches of guided bombs were noted from tactical aviation aircraft in the vicinity of Tokmak – TOT Zaporizhzhia region. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among civilians.
