In Ukraine, repatriation efforts have successfully returned 1000 bodies, which according to Russian sources, belong to Ukrainian soldiers.

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war via their Telegram channel.

In the near future, law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with MIA experts, will conduct necessary examinations to identify the repatriated remains.

The repatriation processes were made possible through the joint efforts of the Coordination Headquarters, the United Center at the Security Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, and other security structures.

The Coordination Headquarters expressed gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their assistance in this process.

A special thanks goes to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for transporting the remains of fallen heroes to designated specialized institutions and organizing their transfer to law enforcement representatives and forensic medical experts.

Law enforcement agencies and MIA experts will establish the identities of the deceased as soon as possible.
