As a result of an emergency situation in the Kyiv region that caused damage to the railway infrastructure, three women required medical assistance due to acute stress reactions.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalagnyk, via Telegram.

«Due to the emergency event, there was damage to the railway infrastructure in the Fastiv district. We are working with the team of Ukrzaliznytsia and relevant services to address the consequences,» he wrote.

According to the official, a transfer of passengers from train No. 73 Kharkiv - Przemyśl to Kyiv was organized: part by bus, with the remainder later traveling by train on a modified route.

Medical assistance was provided to the three women due to acute stress reactions. An emergency medical team is accompanying the passengers to the capital.

«During the recovery work, long-distance trains will be rerouted around the damaged section via Myronivka or Korosten. This will result in deviations from the schedule, but railway workers are accelerating trains and manually handling all necessary connections,» Kalagnyk noted.

He emphasized that efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the emergency situation are ongoing and should be completed shortly.

As previously reported, Ukrzaliznytsia has altered several routes due to infrastructure damage in the Kyiv region caused by the emergency situation.
