A thermal generation facility in the Kyiv region has come under attack.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The aggressor has launched strikes against the Ukrainian energy system once again. A thermal generation facility in Kyiv has been severely affected.

"The objective is clear - to create further hardships for the peaceful population of Ukraine, leaving homes, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens without light and heat. Energy generation facilities, electricity transmission systems, and gas infrastructures are not military targets. The enemy clearly understands that they are striking critical civilian infrastructure," emphasized the Ministry of Energy.

Rescue workers and energy specialists are working to mitigate the effects of the attack.

"We are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible," the ministry assured, promising to provide updates on any changes in energy supply.
