In the night of September 4, the Ukrainian air defense successfully destroyed or suppressed 84 Russian drones out of 112 launched.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

“On the night of September 4 (starting from 7:30 PM on September 3), the enemy launched an attack with 112 Shahed-type strike drones and various imitator drones from directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Hvardiyiske – TOT Crimea,” the statement said.

The attack was repelled by aviation, air defense missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the defense forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, the air defense has shot down or suppressed 84 enemy Shahed drones and imitators in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

There were 28 hits recorded on 17 locations, with downed drones falling on 5 locations.

In Odesa, as a result of the Russian drone attack, warehouse facilities were on fire.
