Tragedy in Zaporizhzhia: Aftermath of Enemy Strikes

In Zaporizhzhia, rescue operations have concluded following enemy shelling. As a result of the Russian strike on the night of August 30, 28 people were injured, according to the regional administration.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and the State Emergency Service report that eight individuals were hospitalized, including three children: a 9-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl. Rescuers managed to save 6 people, including one child. Psychologists provided assistance to 26 citizens, among whom 3 were children.

Rescue teams extinguished fires in apartments on the third floors of two five-story residential buildings, covering an area of 230 square meters. They also dealt with fires in 5 residential houses, a service station, and a cafe, with a total area of 550 square meters.

Later, at 15:32, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, wrote on his Telegram channel:
“Already 30 injured: victims of the night enemy attack continue to seek medical assistance. Some have shrapnel wounds, cuts, and acute stress reactions.”
