The air defense forces effectively neutralized 74 out of 95 drones launched by Russian invaders against Ukraine on the evening of August 26.

Starting from 8:30 PM on Tuesday, August 26, Russian forces attacked with 95 combat UAVs of the Shahed type and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, mobile fire groups, and drone systems of the Ukrainian defense forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, the air defense shot down/neutralized 74 Shahed-type UAVs and imitation drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

Hits were recorded for 21 UAVs at nine different locations.
