According to the regional military administration, 97 civilians were evacuated from the Donetsk region in the past week, among them 11 with limited mobility and 21 children.
This information was shared by Dmitry Požarsky, deputy head of the Department of Social Protection, during a briefing.
Požarsky stated: "In the past week, we have resettled 97 people, including 11 with disabilities and 21 children. The evacuation took place to the Lviv, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, and Transcarpathian regions."
He noted that the evacuation process is ongoing.
Požarsky added: "We are seeing an increase in the number of people wishing to evacuate through our transit point. Therefore, we advise everyone to evacuate. We have observed nearly a doubling in the number of people reaching out to the transit evacuation point over the past few days."
Details: The official reminded that the transit point is located in Pavlohrad, where people receive free hot meals, humanitarian aid, and a one-time cash assistance of 10,800 UAH.
Reminder: Mandatory evacuation of families with children has begun in the town of Druzhkivka and four villages of the Andriivka community in Donetsk region.
Earlier, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, reported that over a thousand civilians currently in Pokrovsk can only be evacuated with direct support from the Ukrainian military.
