On the night of July 26, Russian occupying forces launched a significant strike on Dnipro and its surrounding areas, tragically resulting in two fatalities and five injuries. Numerous buildings were severely damaged and fires broke out across the region.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

"It was a dreadful night. The region faced a massive combined assault," he stated.

Preliminary reports indicate that air defense forces intercepted 7 missiles and 26 drones, but unfortunately, some still managed to hit their targets.

Lysak mentioned that a man was killed in Dnipro, and a woman sustained injuries.

"A high-rise building was damaged, industrial facilities were affected, and fires broke out, including on a parking lot where vehicles caught fire," he added.

Additionally, several fires occurred in the Dnipro district, engulfing a shopping center and igniting dry grass in various locations.

Lysak noted that in the Dnipro district, one person lost their life, while four others were injured.

He also added that the aggressor struck the Pokrovsk community in the Synelnykove district with KABs, leading to a fire. An FPV drone hit the Pokrovsk community in the Nikopol district, and the Marhanets community was also targeted in the attack.
