After a nighttime assault from Russia, traffic has been halted on five streets in Kyiv, and some trolleybus routes have been altered.

This was reported by the Patrol Police and the Kyiv City State Administration via Telegram.

Specifically, traffic has been restricted on the following streets:

  • Volnovaskaya (from the intersection with Vaclav Havel Boulevard);
  • Kozheletska (from the intersection with Mykola Vasylenko Street);
  • Sichovyh Striltsiv (from the intersection with Student Street to the intersection with Mykola Pymonenko Street);
  • Yuri Illienko (from the intersection with Dehtiarivska Street to the intersection with Mytrofan Dovnar-Zapolskyi Street);
  • Oleksy Tykhyi (from the intersection with Chuhuivskyi Lane to the intersection with Hrushetska Street).

Additionally, due to the aftermath of the Russian strike, some trolleybus routes have been revised.

  • Due to damage to the contact network near "Beresteiska" metro station, trolleybuses No. 4, 5, 7 are running to "Nyvky" metro station.
  • Due to damage to the contact network at the intersection of Sichovyh Striltsiv Street with Vyacheslav Chornovil Street, trolleybuses No. 6, 18, 33 are running to "Pochaina" metro station, while No. 16 is heading to Orenzhereyna Street.
  • The routes for trolleybuses No. 19 and 35 have been organized through Olena Teliga, Vadym Hetman, and Chokolivskyi Boulevard, continuing on their regular paths.
  • Due to damage from a freight vehicle on Akademik Zabolotny Street, 142, trolleybus No. 11 is now heading to the Cybernetics Center.

There are also temporary delays for trolleybuses No. 23, 28, 31, and No. 15.

The KMD and police ask residents to be understanding of the situation and take these temporary changes into account while planning their routes.
