Massive Night Attack on Kyiv: Casualties and Damage

A strong night attack on Kyiv resulted in 2 fatalities and 13 injuries.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

Residential buildings, office spaces, administrative, and industrial facilities were affected.

Shevchenkivskyi District – high-rise residential and office buildings were damaged. Fires broke out on rooftops, balconies, and technical floors. There are casualties.

Solomyanskyi District – fires engulfed administrative and storage buildings. Efforts to mitigate the consequences of the shelling are ongoing in one of the facilities.

Darnytskyi District – debris fell onto the territory of a garage cooperative. The fire has been extinguished, and there are no reported injuries.

Podilskyi, Obolon, and Desnyanskyi Districts – debris fall and infrastructure damage have been recorded. There are fatalities in the Podilskyi district.

All services are operating at increased capacity. Approximately 400 rescuers and 90 units of equipment are involved in the aftermath response, along with bomb disposal experts checking areas for hazardous materials.
