Strike on Russian Military Production

On the night of July 5, Ukrainian forces targeted a key object of the Russian military-industrial complex in Cheboksary (Chuvash Republic, RF).

The focus was on the enterprise JSC «VNIIR-Progress», which manufactures adaptive antenna arrays «Comet».

This was reported by the General Staff.

The target was the production facilities for adaptive antenna arrays.

These systems are used in «Shaheds», «Iskander-K» missiles, as well as in various precision-guided munitions that the enemy routinely uses to shell Ukraine.

According to the staff, the means of impact reached the target area.

The results are being clarified.

Strike on the Borisoglebsk Airbase in Voronezh Region

That night, Defense Forces also attacked the Russian airbase «Borisoglebsk» in Voronezh region.

The enemy cannot advance deep into the territory but continues to shell border areas.

«On July 5, the special operations units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other defense components, struck the «Borisoglebsk» airbase in Voronezh region,» the report stated.

Russian aircraft Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM are based here.

According to the staff, a storage facility for guided bombs, a training-combat aircraft, and possibly other planes were hit.
