On July 5, the Ukrainian special operations units, in collaboration with other defense forces, launched a significant strike on the "Borisoglebsk" airfield in the Voronezh region, where enemy aircraft such as Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM are stationed.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Special Operations Forces.
According to the General Staff, a facility containing guided aerial bombs, a training-combat aircraft, and possibly other planes were destroyed.
The results of the strike are currently being confirmed.
"The defense forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the capabilities of Russian invaders to strike at civilian infrastructure and compel the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine".
