Today, Russia launched a missile strike on the Odesa sea port, leading to casualties among civilians.

This was reported by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, on his Telegram account.

This afternoon, an «Iskander» missile hit one of the docks where workers were unloading cargo from a foreign vessel.

There were two fatalities among civilians: one was a dockworker and the other a truck driver. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families.

Six others were injured, including workers from port operations and citizens of Syria who were part of the ship's crew. All injured individuals are receiving necessary medical assistance.

Infrastructure also sustained damage: cranes, machinery, and warehouses were affected.

This incident further illustrates Russia's targeted attacks on Ukraine's ports, which are crucial for connecting Ukraine to the global market. The international community must respond decisively to these assaults.
