On the evening of July 2, the city of Sumy was targeted by a drone strike, yet fortunately, no casualties were reported.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Hryhorov, alongside the police of Sumy region.

Details: Around 6:00 PM, an enemy UAV struck the Kovalivsky district in Sumy.

Direct quote: "The blast wave damaged the windows of a minibus that was passing by at the time of the attack. The driver quickly moved to a safe distance and let the passengers out—none were injured".

Windows in several private cars and a residential building were also damaged.
