New Casualties in Smila Attack: Destruction Reported

The recent rocket and drone attack on the city of Smila has resulted in an increase in casualties to 11, including two children.

This information was shared by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

"According to preliminary reports, three rockets and eight drones fell within the city limits. The enemy targeted civilian infrastructure", he emphasized.

In Smila, three nine-story buildings, private homes, and vehicles were significantly damaged. At least four educational institutions and a psychiatric hospital were affected. The educational building of the National University of Food Technologies was virtually destroyed, where a graduation ceremony for junior bachelor's students had taken place the day before.

At dawn on June 29, the Cherkasy military administration reported three casualties and "consequences for civilian infrastructure" due to the attacks by the Russian Federation.
