The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed strikes on important military-industrial complex facilities in Russia, particularly in the Samara and Stavropol regions.
According to Ukrinform, this information was shared by the General Staff on Facebook.
As part of operations aimed at reducing the enemy's production capabilities for ammunition, on the night of June 14, UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck strategic targets in the Russian military-industrial complex.
Specifically, the facilities of JSC "NNK" in Samara region, a leading manufacturer of explosives components, were affected. Explosions and fires were reported in the industrial zone.
Additionally, a strike was recorded on the "Nevinnomyssk" plant in Stavropol region, which is one of the key producers of basic components for munitions. There were reports of a series of explosions and the activation of Russian air defense in the vicinity of the target.
The General Staff emphasized that the results of the strikes are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, the "Nevinnomyssk Azot" plant, which produces ammonia and ammonium nitrate for explosives and artillery shells, was also targeted in Stavropol.
Moreover, the Novokuybyshevsk catalyst plant in Samara region, crucial for the fuel autonomy of the Russian military-industrial complex, was struck.
