Another 11 children have been successfully returned from the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region to territory controlled by Ukraine.

This was announced on Friday, June 13, by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The return was made possible thanks to the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky “Bring Kids Back UA” and the efforts of the charity organization “Save Ukraine”.

Among the 11 returned children are 8 girls and 3 boys, who are raised in nine families. The youngest child is only 4 years old, while the oldest is 17. There is also one child without parental care.

According to Prokudin, the occupation authorities exerted significant pressure on these children, forcing them to study under the Russian educational program and participate in propaganda events.

Some children experienced “visits” from armed officers of the Russian FSB and were even held in so-called “re-education camps”. This happened simply because they are Ukrainians.

Currently, all returned children are safe. They and their families are receiving all necessary medical, psychological, and social support.

Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 67 children have been evacuated from the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region.
