The Kherson region is experiencing serious challenges with power supply due to Russian attacks on a key energy facility.

This information was confirmed by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

He noted that it is currently impossible to predict the timeline for restoration of electricity, urging local residents to prepare for an extended blackout.

«Energy specialists are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the strikes and restore electricity to homes,» emphasized the head of the OVA.

He also added that all necessary services and ministries are already engaged in providing assistance.

Emergency Outages in Mykolaiv and Kherson on June 11: Details

On the morning of June 11, emergency power outages occurred in Mykolaiv and partially in Kherson.

According to preliminary information, the blackout in Mykolaiv is not related to Russian shelling.

The head of Mykolaiv OVA, Vitaliy Kim, and the mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, reported the power outage around 10:15.

Within half an hour, electricity supply began to gradually restore in some areas of the city.

At the same time, local media reported power loss in several neighborhoods of Kherson, particularly in Shumensky.
