In the capital, in the Solomianskyi district, diplomats from Denmark, Japan, Sweden, and a representative of a British charity came to pay their respects to three Ukrainian rescuers who lost their lives while on duty.

The international community continues to express solidarity with Ukraine and its rescuers. At the site of the night rocket attack in Kyiv, where three SES employees perished, representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations visited.

Together with the Head of the SES Andriy Danyk, the site of the tragedy was visited by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Ambassador of Japan Masashi Nakagome, First Secretary of the Embassy of Sweden Sofia Westberg, and the representative of the British charity FIRE AID Edward Matthews.

“This was not just a condolence visit — the diplomats had the opportunity to personally witness the scale of destruction and express support for Ukrainian rescuers who risk their lives daily.

Numerous letters of solidarity have been sent to the SES from international partners, including the European Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC), the Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid of the EU (DG ECHO), and other organizations,” the rescuers noted.

In memory of the fallen heroes, residents of the capital bring flowers, candles, and leave words of gratitude at the site of the tragedy.

Ukrainian rescuers remain a symbol of courage, self-sacrifice, and professionalism. Their bravery is recognized not only in Ukraine but also far beyond its borders.
