On the night of May 24, the city of Kyiv was once again targeted by drone and ballistic missile attacks. Firefighters are actively working to address the aftermath at several locations throughout the city:
Solomyansky District. A fire broke out in apartments on the 4th and 5th floors of a five-story building. With the efforts of 30 firefighters and 8 units of special equipment, the fire was extinguished. A man suffering from smoke inhalation was rescued and handed over to medical professionals.
Obolon District. A fire ignited on the balconies of a nine-story building on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors. Firefighters evacuated three individuals, while four more sought medical assistance for acute stress reaction. The fire has been successfully extinguished.
Svatoshyn District. A fire occurred in a single-story non-residential building used for storing paints and varnishes due to a Russian attack. Efforts to contain the fire are ongoing.
