The new heavy remote-controlled demining complex, known as "HART 5100", developed by the Ukrainian company XTI Engineering, has completed the state certification process and is preparing for mass production. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The certification was conducted by the State Scientific Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Armaments and Military Equipment.

"This machine is designed to detect and neutralize various types of mines and other explosive devices by detonating or destroying them using specialized tools," the press release states.

The Ministry of Defense noted that this is a fully domestic development. All stages of production are carried out in Ukraine, simplifying logistics and ensuring rapid maintenance and repair.

The "HART 5100" can be remotely operated from a distance of up to 600 meters, ensuring operator safety. If a relay is installed, the safe distance can be extended to over 1 km. The complex is also equipped with a wide-angle camera system.

The operational speed of the machine is 1.5 km/h, and in one daylight period, it can de-mine over 2 hectares of land contaminated with explosive devices. The demining depth reaches 300 mm, and interchangeable equipment allows adapting to different soil types.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense reported that an industrial drone equipped with a magnetometer is being used for demining in the Mykolaiv region, capable of detecting explosive devices both on the surface and underground.
