Direct quote: "Based on preliminary information, the Russians used a ballistic missile made in North Korea. Our intelligence agencies are checking all the details. If it is confirmed that this missile was indeed manufactured in North Korea, it will serve as further evidence of the criminal alliance between Russia and Pyongyang. They kill people and destroy lives together – that's the essence of their cooperation. Russia continuously employs such weapons – missiles and artillery. Meanwhile, Pyongyang gains the opportunity to enhance its weaponry under real combat conditions."

Details: The President mentioned that debris clearance is still ongoing in Kyiv following the Russian missile strike.

He also reported that on just Thursday, the Russian army used over 200 weapons against Ukrainians – missiles and strike drones. As of now, more than 100 people have been injured and 12 have died.

Direct quote: "There needs to be real pressure on Russia to put an end to this. Even amidst international diplomatic efforts to halt this war, Russia continues to kill civilians. This indicates that Putin is not afraid. An unconditional cessation of strikes is required, and Russia must comply. We need a just conclusion to this war, and to truly guarantee our people's safety, we need to strengthen our air defense."

Background: On the night of April 24, Ukraine was subjected to a massive combined attack by Russian forces. It is known that there were 12 fatalities as a result of the missile strike on Kyiv.
