Details: The head of the aggressor state noted that "Russia has always been supportive of ceasefires, which is why it proposed the initiative during Easter".
Putin also indicated that the Russian side "observed a decrease in combat activity from Kyiv, yet over 5,000 attacks were still recorded" (notably, the Russian side failed to adhere to ceasefire terms and, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, violated the "ceasefire" nearly 3,000 times in just one day in April - editor's note).
Additionally, the Kremlin leader highlighted the necessity to "address" Ukraine's proposal not to strike at civilian objects.
