On the morning of April 17, a Russian drone attacked an ambulance in the Dnipro district of Kherson, injuring a 65-year-old paramedic and a 61-year-old driver, who sustained blast and shrapnel injuries.

Reportedly, around 7:40 AM, Russian forces targeted the ambulance using a drone in the Dnipro district.
According to the regional military administration, the paramedic suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the limbs, while the driver sustained head and pelvic injuries.
Both injured individuals were hospitalized, and doctors are providing them with the necessary care. The ambulance sustained considerable damage, with the front section almost completely destroyed.
It's worth noting that on April 16, Russian forces shelled Kherson from the air and artillery, resulting in one death and nine injuries, including a 15-year-old teenager. The enemy also damaged 20 apartment buildings, two private houses, a sports facility, and two supermarkets.
- When the head of the city military administration, Roman Mrochko, and rescuers arrived at the strike site, they came under artillery fire as well.
