On November 28, Andriy Ermak, head of the Presidential Office, submitted his resignation. On the same day, searches were conducted at his office by NABU and SAP.
Later, a decree regarding his dismissal was published on the official OP website.
In an evening address, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a reboot of the Presidential Office, with Ermak's resignation being the first step. He thanked Ermak for his service and emphasized that he represented Ukraine's interests in negotiations with dignity. Ermak has not yet commented on his resignation.
The president also urged everyone not to spread rumors and stated that consultations regarding a new head of the OP will take place on November 29. He stressed the importance of unity during the war and mentioned upcoming meetings with the Chief of Staff, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and intelligence.
"Everyone must act in the interests of our state and protect Ukraine. This is an unchanging principle," he said.
The president also noted that meetings with the American side are expected soon.
On November 28, NABU and SAP arrived at Ermak's office for searches, where he confirmed that investigative actions were taking place at his home.
